Greetings,
Here's the update note 0.919.352 deployed this morning.
*Global changes :
- Introduction of the PvP Brawl Update: This new update brings a balanced PvP system, allowing all players level 20 or higher to engage in battles in Practice Mode, Arena Mode, and soon in Ranked Mode, with predefined statistics regardless of their character level or equipment.
Details about the spells altered by this update are listed in the patch notes below.
Furthermore, this update enriches the Practice Mode by adding 6 new maps.
It also introduces Brawl Mode Arenas, where you can obtain Morbid Keepsakes, usable for trading with NPC Gerard at the Port of the Winds.
A new currency, Brawl Points (BPs), becomes available with to this update. For now, they can be acquired by participating in Arenas and will soon be available in Ranked Mode.
BPs are spent to exchange items with NPC Gerard at the Port of the Winds.
Lastly, please expect the arrival of Ranked Brawl Mode within 1 to 2 weeks.
- It's now possible to fight monsters and other players using just your fists after unequipping your weapon.
Addition of the "Brawl Heritage Event" until October 5, 2023.
Through this event, you will be able to create up to 12 characters at 25th-level of the class of your choice.
- Asian players can now enjoy low-latency PvP rooms by selecting the "Region: Asia" option in Practice Mode.
Brawl arenas are also available for the channel 2.
- CPs can now be acquired in Practice Mode.
- Removal of the "Catch-Up" event.
*Brawl Changes :
Damage in all spells have been revisited. It is still possible that, because of the large number of changes, all informations do not appear in the patch note, thank you for your understanding. Have a great time discovering it in game!
*Dragoon*
- Move Speed set to 280
- Attack Speed set to 205
- Sword Dance: Cooldown increased from 7.0s to 10.0s. The range is also strongly decreased.
- Hammer Crush: 100% probability of stunning target.
- Aerial Smackdown: Cooldown increased from 3.0s to 4.8s.
- Shoulder Tackle: Cooldown increased from 4.0s to 5.8s.
- Spear Jab: Cooldown increased from 5.0 to 6.8s.
- Spin it Bear!: Cooldown increased from 8.0s to 10.8s.
- Parry: Blocks 100% of incoming blows for 2.0s. Cooldown increased from 30.0s to 40.0s.
- Armour Break: Cooldown increased from 6.0 to 8.0s.
- Over Head Strike: Cooldown increased from 4.0 to 8.0s.
- Cross Cut: Cooldown increased from 6.0s to 7.8s.
- Dragon dive: Cooldown increased from 15.0s to 23.0s.
- Time Reverse: Now works in Brawl mode.
*Overlord*
- Move Speed set to 295.
- Attack Speed set to 275.
- Sword Dance: Cooldown increased from 7.0s to 10.0s. The range is also strongly decreased.
- Hammer Crush: 100% probability of stunning target.
*Invoker*
- Move Speed set to 275
- Attack Speed set to 209.
- Quagmire: The spell does not apply anti-dash and anti-jump anymore, and the move speed reduction becomes -20 while duration is 7.0s.
- Diffusion Cannon and Double Shot cannot be used anymore in Brawl mode.
- Lightning Stone: Cooldown decreased from 18.0s to 9.0s.
- Emergency Exit: Cooldown increased from 90.0s to 420.0s.
*Sorcerer*
- Move Speed set to 295.
- Attack Speed set to 250.
- Snow Blues: Casting time reduced from 0.5s to 0.2s.
- Time Freeze: The time freeze effect has been replaced with a stun effect, and it has a 100% probability of being applied.
*Sentinel*
- Move Speed set to 330.
- Attack Speed set to 240.
- Hook Shot: 100% probability of stunning target.
- Freezing Trap: 100% probability of freezing target.
*Destroyer*
- Move Speed set to 330.
- Attack Speed set to 280.
- Gatling Rush: An Impervion-like effect has been added.
- Particle Cannon: A stun effect has been added.
- Vulcan 300: The spell has no casting time but has a shorter duration. Cooldown decreased from 44,0s to 20,0s.
- H.E. Grenade: Bug fix that allowed to hit enemy out of range within certain conditions.
- Autoshot system: Cooldown decreased from 35.0s to 15.0s.
*Savage*
- Move Speed set to 295.
- Attack Speed set to 200.
- Rocket Punch!: 100% probability of stunning target.
- Grappling Claw: Bug fix that allowed the target to avoid hits after being grappled. Cooldown increased from 5.0 to 9.0s.
- Windmill: Cooldown decreased from 15.0s to 7.0s
- EXIT: Cooldown increased from 30.0s to 600.0s. Duration 5.0s.
- Moonwalk: Cooldown increased from 30.0s to 40.0s.
- Head Spin: Cooldown increased from 5.0s to 10.0s.
*Ninja*
- Move Speed set to 295 (320 in ninja form).
- Attack Speed set to 200.
- Rocket Punch!: 100% probability of stunning target.
- Violent Blow: 30% probability of stunning target.
- Cross Blade: The spell has no casting time.
- Wood Rush: The spell does not apply a debuff. Cooldown increased from 25.0 to 30.0s.
- April Pool: Duration 5s. Cooldown increased from 8.0s to 10.0s.
*Earth Master*
- Move Speed set to 295.
- Attack Speed set to 290.
- The Earth Master has been reworked as a master of elements capable of controlling elements of air, earth, fire, darkness, and lightning.
- Rolling Stone becomes Thunder Struck, it does not push but applies a lightning effect, the spell is accelerated, and the spell has no casting time.
- Area Spell now applies and Impervion-like effect during the spell's duration. Cooldown: 8.0s.
- Dragon Tooth is accelerated and pushes the target.
- Meteor Rain can now be interrupted.
- Volcano : The spell does not send the target in the air, and it can be interrupted.
- Spike Wave: The spell can be interrupted. Cooldown decreased from 20.0s to 10.0s.
- Mega Inferno: The spell is accelerated.
- Spell Trap: The Spell now stuns the target. Cooldown Increased from 6.0s to 13.0s.
- Air Splash: The spell is accelerated and can be interrupted. Cooldown increased from 3.0 to 7.0s.
- Air Smash: The spell is accelerated and can be interrupted. Cooldown increased from 4.5s to 8.0s.
- Impact Presser : The spell has an Impervion-like effect, sends the target in the air and can be interrupted. Cooldown increased from 6.0s to 7.0s.
- Elemental Storm: Pot number 3 exchange places with the pot number 1 (1 petrification is now applied closer to the Earth Master). The spell is accelerated and won't put a debuff other than petrification.
*Jumeaux*
- Move Speed set to 285.
- Attack Speed set to 250.
- Twin suppression: The main character is now alone and all spells that the twin would use are now used by the main character instead.
- Infinite Kicking: Range has been reduced to match the spell's animation. The spell doesn't push but makes a Sword Dance-like effect.
- Infinite Turning Kick: The spell's range has been increased to make it fully hit.
- Power Fist: Range has been reduced to match the spell's animation. Cooldown increased from 4.0s to 8.0s.
- Spirit Spear: Lightning effect has been replaced by a Sword Dance-like effect. The range has also been reduced.
- Rolling Grapple: The spell can now be interrupted, sends the target in the air and stuns it for 0.5s.
- Tornado Spin: The spell can be interrupted.
- Definite Defence: 100% blocking chance during 3.0s. Cooldown increased from 15.0s to 40.0s.
- Impact Blow: Cooldown increased from 6.0 to 8.0s.
- Rolling Smash: The spell can be interrupted.
- Training Time: Casting time is now 0.2s. Range has been reduced.
*Damage per optimized combo*
To ensure balance in pvp group content like Arenas as well as Brawl, the following changes have been made:
Here is the base of the calculations made to balance classes between each other:
- Dragoon : 28% Max HP (or 4 combos to kill)
- Overlord: 31% Max HP (or 3 combos + some hits or 4 combos to kill).
- Invoker: 21% Max HP (or 5 combos to kill).
- Sorcerer: 40% Max HP (or 2 combos + some hits or 3 combos to kill).
- Sentinel: 36% Max HP (or 2 combos + some hits or 3 combos to kill).
- Destroyer: 40% Max HP (or 2 combos + some hits or 3 combos to kill).
- Savage: 36% Max HP (or 3 combos to kill)
- Ninja: 30% Max HP (or 3 combos + some hits or 4 combos to kill).
- Earth Master: 36% Max HP (or 3 combos to kill).
- Jumeaux: 29,3% Max HP (or 4 combos to kill).
A DPS over 3 seconds (Burst) balancing has been applied depending on the ease of each class to catch his or her opponents.
- Weak DPS: Overlord/Dragoon (DPS between 9 and 11% per Burst)
- Medium DPS: Ninja/Savage/Jumeaux (DPS between 11 and 13% per Burst)
- Strong DPS : Sentinel/Destroyer/Earth Master (DPS between 14 and 16% per Burst)
- Oracle (dps between 9 and 13% per Burst over 5s)
- Sorcerers being able to cast their spells without impairment as they are summons, the class does not follow one of these categories.
